The Maree Hotel which hosted a lot of the cast and crew for Robert Pattinsom’s film The Rover shared this photograph on their Facebook page which was sent to them as a thank you for being available for the film. You can spot Rob, Guy Pearce, director David Michôd and producer Liz Watts in the middle.
The first ‘teaser’ trailer for The Rover was released today in the US. The majority of the movie was filmed in and around Marree. The ute as seen in the trailer (and the movie) is now permanently housed at the Marree Hotel.
Note: It could be a screen shot from the trailer or it could be a still. Either way, it’s nice to see Rob personifying his character.
Good and Evil burn under the same sun.
It’s been 1 year exactly since The Rover began filming in Australia and we finally get to see some of the final product. A24 has just released the first official teaser trailer for the film!! Check it out below.
Robert Pattinson’s advertisements for Dior Homme are beginning to hit Macy’s stores throughout the states. Some faster than others. The main markets that are bound to have the ads up right away are Los Angeles and New York city so imagine my surprise to stroll into a Macy’s in Orange County, California and spot Robert Pattinson greeting me hello. Finding the fragrance was not on my mind the day I went shopping but who can say no to this face?
The men’s fragrance department (which is not that big) also has a small display.
As you can see the bottle comes in 2 sizes and prices range from $60 to $80 depending on the size you get.
The @AACTA tweeted out the news this morning. We finally get to see a preview of The Rover!
Shortly after these news broke, The Rover Fansite reached out to A24 Films and received confirmation that the teaser trailer will be online BEFORE January 30th and will be over 1 minute long. So we’ll be sure to keep our eyes open for it!
Brady Corbet will be directing Robert Pattinson in Childhood of a Leader, one of the newest project’s on Pattinson’s list of films. While at the Sundance Film Festival he spoke with Indiwire’s the Playlist about the film which will be filmed in France at the 9:30 mark.
Brady Corbet will direct their next feature, “The Childhood of a Leader,” starring Robert Pattinson, Tim Roth and Juliette Binoche, later this year, and a third project will follow.
Now that Robert Pattinson’s Dior ads and new fragrance have hit shops in the states we’re going to start seeing more press for it as well. In a recent interview with The Wall Street Journal he talks more about the new fragrance:
Pattinson’s steely glances are being repurposed to promote Dior Homme Eau for Men, a fresh new grapefruit and coriander-spiked riff on the heady, iris-laden original scent that hits shelves exclusively in the U.S. in February.
“I like trying to do ambitious things,” says Pattinson. Pairing the Parisian luxury brand with Gavras’s “violent and visceral” approach was his idea. (The director’s infamous 2010 video for M.I.A’s “Born Free” was pulled from YouTube for its graphic content.) “That’s what got me really enthusiastic about the campaign, that [Dior] wasn’t shying away from anything.” Pattinson’s beauty contract has afforded him a few other perks. “I was a brush-your-teeth-and-have-a-shower kind of guy. I can’t tell if it’s because of my association with Dior or because I’m older, but I’ve started moisturizing,” he says, calling out the brand’s Dermo System Repairing Moisturizing Emulsion as his current skin salve of choice. With a tinge of sarcasm, he adds, “It’s been a quite profound change in my life.” As for the fragrance he fronts, Pattinson likes it best in shower-gel form. Other musts include Nudie jeans and “old Hanes T-shirts,” he says. “There are stores that sell these sweat-stained T-shirts for like $80. It’s a weird cult!”
The TV ads for the new fragrance will debut in February during the Olympic Winter Games. How exciting!?
